We’re listening to:
- Residents – People who live in Lerwick and across Shetland
- Young people – Through our youth and schools engagement
- Artists & creatives – People making and working in Shetland’s creative sector
- Businesses – Businesses and organisations connected to Lerwick
- Communities – Groups and organisations representing different communities across Shetland
Once the survey closes, we’ll look through all the responses to understand the ideas, priorities and themes coming through. We’ll share the results with the Lerwick 28 Liaison Forum, who will help make sure community and stakeholder views are part of the conversation as the programme develops. The feedback will then feed into the team developing the final bid, with the Lerwick 28 Programme Board providing direction and oversight.
Our survey is just one part of a wider consultation on what the community wants from Lerwick 28. Our liaisons will be talking to communities, businesses, schools, young people and creatives, gathering ideas and finding out what people want from Lerwick 28.
